Build a training roadmap

Fictional example: a GM repeatedly resolves ambiguous actions before confirming intent. The chosen target is to paraphrase intent and allow correction before commitment (D02-02). Listening and clarification skills may support this behavior; rules knowledge helps select the procedure after intent is understood.

Roadmap: read the agency starter lesson; rehearse two ambiguous declarations; ask a consenting player whether your paraphrase captured their goal; record corrections; repeat with a different situation. A completed drill does not by itself demonstrate competence in live play.

Your roadmap should identify a target behavior, a useful knowledge or skill support, a lesson, a practice opportunity, the observation you will collect, and a review point. Choose the review point yourself. Keep it proportionate to your time and table.
